Janet Lancaster was asked to do a little research on Robert McHenry, an early settler of Modesto, California. In Modesto, there’s McHenry Avenue, the McHenry Museum, the McHenry Mansion… you get the picture. But the history books didn’t say much about him. So Janet went to work. Here’s a perfect example of going where the research takes you, and not necessarily where you want it go, or think it should go! Hear my visit with Janet on this week’s Extreme Genes.
