Davis County, Utah, Sheriff Todd Richardson has presented Extreme Genes host, Scott Fisher, with the Department’s first “Citizen Excellence Award,” for Fisher’s extensive research to locate the next of kin of murder victim, Theresa Rose Greaves. After missing for 32 years, Greaves body was discovered in February. Fisher’s work resulted in many dead ends before locating cousins, and then a half-brother in April of this year. Sheriff Richardson credits Fisher’s skills with saving the department months of work. The award was presented at a special banquet at which numerous members of Sheriff Richardson’s team were recognized for outstanding accomplishments.
Fisher commented, “It was humbling just to be in the same room with these true heroes of the community.” The investigation into Theresa’s murder continues, and as a result her remains have not yet been returned to the family members, who are patiently waiting.
